Nintendo is reportedly creating a tinier version of the Nintendo 3DS, which is intended for smaller gamers and pockets.

The Nintendo 3DS is a handheld gaming device that was released in the United States in February 2015. It is expected to have a smaller model, which will still go by the same name. Nintendo made the announcement about the pocket-sized product at GameStop’s annual managerial conference in Las Vegas on September 1, 2015.

Kotaku wrote that the smaller version of the New Nintendo 3DS will finally be launched in North America. It will be the same size as the original 3DS. The upcoming gaming system will have an analog nub, better 3D effects linked to face-tracking and two extra shoulder buttons, similar to the New 3DS XL. However, it allows changeable faceplates.

“*A #0 crosshead screwdriver (sold separately) is required to remove and attach cover plates on the New Nintendo 3DS system,” Nintendo advised.

The smaller gaming device will be bundled with “Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer”. The game will not come in a physicalcartridge, but will be a downloadable version. There will also be two “Animal Crossing”-themed cover plates, an “Animal Crossing” Amiibo card, six augmented reality cards and a 4GB SDHC memory card. The bundle will become available on September 25, 2015 at a retail price of $219.99, TIME wrote.

In Japan, both the XL and regular-sized models of the Nintendo 3DS were available upon launch in October 2014. The XL model weighs 329 grams and measures 6.3 x 3.68 x 0.85 inches. The regular Nintendo 3DS weighs 253 grams and measures 6.3 x 3.68 x 0.85 inches. The New Nintendo 3DS features a second eraser-type thumbstick, longer battery life, a faster processor, improved audio and an eye-tracking sensor that will stabilize the 3D effect of the system when the user moves it around. The New Nintendo 3DS XL retails at $199.99, while the non-XL version is available at $169.99, both without a bundle game and extras. “Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer” sells for $39.99 independently. There is no power adapter included, so gamers will have to pay $13 more for the accessory. The Amiibo NFC Read/Write adapter for older 3DS models will also become available on September 25 at $19.99, Nintendo Life revealed.

According to Nintendo, over 15 million systems in the Nintendo 3DS family have been sold in the United States. More news and updates on the smaller Nintendo 3DS are expected in the coming weeks.
