Hardcore Kim Kardashian followers may have noticed by now that the selfie queen has stopped smiling in her photos. KK revealed the real reason behind her poker face.
In an interview with Amanda de Cadenet of C Magazine, Kim revealed the reason she is not smiling recently is because of heavy criticism she got during her first pregnancy.
KK said that during her introduction to the world of fashion, she was also pregnant for the first time.
During that period a lot of stylists wanted her to wear fashionable clothes but at the same time she was already starting to gain weight.
"It was the worst! I couldn't help it, and everyone would say, "She can't stop eating."
"I delivered at 180, and they were like, 'She's 210 pounds. She's getting dumped because she's too fat' and all these ridiculous stories," Kim told C Magazine.
After her pregnancy, she said she "gained 50 pounds" but was really dedicated to take all those off since she was being criticized because of those extra pounds.
The bigger effect, however, of taking in so much criticism is that "it changed the way I viewed wanting my picture taken," KK went on saying.
"Before I was always smiling, and so into being out and about. After I had the baby, I was like, these are the same people that made fun of me, and posted the stories that were so awful, calling me fat for something I couldn't control. I don't want to smile for them," KK revealed.
"Even if I was more confident, I just didn't feel like being that girl who was going to be smiling for every photo. It changed my mood; it changed who I was; it changed my personality a lot," she added.
KK also revealed in the interview that she had so many complications after the first pregnancy.
"I had this condition called placenta accreta. There were a couple of little operations to fix all that, so that created a little hole in my uterus."
She explained further that she initially thought it would be hard to get pregnant again.
Asked if she will have a third baby in the future, KK said, "If the placenta grows a little bit deeper than it did last time, then they are prepared to have my uterus removed."
Meanwhile North West, who made KK's pregnancy woes all worth it, was pictured having fun with cousin Penelope in UK's St Barts Beach.
orth West wore a white swimsuit as she played in the shore with Penelope, Mirror UK reported.
The website said that North West got temporary gold tattoos on her wrist. One tattoo was designed after a shape of a watch while the others look like bracelets.
