Rumors of a new and improved Nuketown map in "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" might just be true.

According to Charlie Intel, a recent blunder made by the Brazil PlayStation Store revealed that the Nuketown map will return in "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" and those who pre-order the game will get the map as a bonus when the game is released.

"Get the bonus NUK3TOWN map. This map, which is among the fan favorites, was completely redesigned to highlight the new chained motion system based on momentum of Treyarch, providing battles full of adrenaline," the announcement said in Brazilian Portuguese.

The page has already edited the announcement and removed the mention of the Nuketown map. However, some fans have taken a screenshot that is now making rounds in the internet.

According to Game Rant, players have already expected an upgraded version of the map given its huge success in the previous versions of the famed first person shooter (fps) game.

The report described Nuketown map as one of the smallest maps in the history of the "Call of Duty" franchise, along with maps such as Shipment, Dome, Rust, and Hijacked.

According to the report, small maps like Nuketown are well-received by players who want fast-paced close-action combat without the hassle of long navigation from the respawn base to the center of battle

Nuketown is suitable for gamers playing in groups and LAN parties. It offers a high volume of games and action in one playing time because players can quickly get back into action after being killed.

There has been a lot of hype and expectations for Treyarch and Activision's video game franchise in recent time especially with the success of the first two franchises.

Besides the DLC exclusivity deal with Sony, Game Rand said the new map pools and Uplink game modes are also highly anticipated by fans of the game.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" is set on a dystopian future in 2060 and like the previous installments, will follow a group of black ops soldiers with superhuman capabilities.

The game's eSports contest will be played solely via PlayStation 4. However, it will be available for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC in its home console launch on November 26, 2015.
