The unlikely pair of Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer are reportedly working on a screenplay together.

The comedienne and the star of "The Hunger Games" are reportedly working on a script where the pair are sisters. In an interview with The New York Times, Lawrence admits that the duo are about 100 pages into the screenplay. The script apparently just started to flow after a few hours of brainstorming.

Lawrence admits that she met Schumer just a few months ago, yet the two are apparently now connected at the hip. CBC News reports that Lawrence first started to communicate with the comedian after she saw the movie "Trainwreck."

About a month after the two started communicating, the pair were seen jet skiing in the Hamptons and in other famous tourist spots. Schumer recalled the visit to the Hamptons on "The Daily Show", saying that she mentioned to Lawrence that she and her high school girlfriends go to the Hamptons once a year. Schumer then jokingly told Lawrence that they were going on a boat tomorrow and that Lawrence should tag along. Lawrence quickly replied that she would go with them, and the rest is history.

Lawrence admits that the pair originally wanted to keep the screenplay secret until they were finished but accidentally let the news out during an interview for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2." Lawrence, obviously a bit flustered, then sent a text to Schumer saying, "Just spilt the beans. Is that OK?" Jokingly, Schumer replied with "That you're gay? Totally! That's exciting!" The response, although humorous, made it seem that Schumer was okay with the information being leaked out.

When asked on how it was working with Schumer, Lawrence had nothing but good things to say about the comedienne. Lawrence goes on to say that the two are creatively made for each other, and that the duo feed off each other quite well. The young actress says that this is the most fun she has had ever, and that she goes through the day laughing and cracking up.

The pair stated that the script is currently in the finishing stages and should be ready in the near future. There is no name for the movie yet, but there are high hopes that it will be given the green light once it's finished. Considering the star power behind the script, studios will undoubtedly be chomping at the bit to get their hands on it.
