New talks revealed that there will be no pink iPhone 6s color. The iPhone 6c is also rumored to launch soon.
China Telecom recently revealed a number of expected specifications that may come out in the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. The devices are said to feature 2GB of RAM, Force Touch technology, an A9 chipset and improved cameras. There were previously rumors that Apple would offer a pink and rose gold version of the iPhone 6s. However, an insider claiming to be an employee of China Telecom stated that there will be no pink finish for the upcoming handset. The iPhone 6s might be 7.1mm thick
Mac Rumors wrote that the iPhone 6s will feature a 4.7-inch screen while the iPhone 6s Plus will have a bigger 5.5-inch screen. Apple might use the same 7000 series aluminum that was used in the Apple Watch, which is 60% stronger compared to standard aluminum. The device will still be lightweight. There may be a 12-megapixel rear camera with 4K video recording and an extra microphone that will boost voice quality. The upcoming handset might include a new internal mechanical design to keep the body from bending. Other features to expect include 802.11ac Wi-Fi capabilities, LTE advanced connectivity and internal storage options of 16GB, 64GB and 128GB.
Recently, developer Hamza Sood discovered a pseudo code that seemed to enable deep press trackpad gestures for choosing UI text, which could indicate that the Force Touch hardware will be available in the iPhone 6s models. There were also rumors that Apple suppliers began increasing the production of the iPhone 6s Force Touch module in July 2015, Apple Insider cited.
A new image surfaced online alleged to be the prototype case for the Apple iPhone 6c. The prototype was made of cardboard and appeared to have been made to make the final checks before it enters mass production. The case is said to begin production shortly, while the iPhone 6c is expected to launch late in October or early in November 2015, Micgadget reported.
DigiTimes previously reported that Apple might launch a 4-inch iPhone 6c together with the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. The smaller handset is rumored to run on the A8 processor, feature a Touch ID fingerprint sensor and NFC. Most users expect the device to be capable of Apple Pay.
