Dakota Johnson, Jake Gyllenhaal Dating? [Rumors]

There are talks that Jake Gyllenhaal and Dakota Johnson are currently dating. The two actors were spotted at a nightclub in Los Angeles earlier in August 2015.

Hollywood Life reported that the “Southpaw” actor and “Fifty Shades of Grey” actress were seen sharing a table at a Los Angeles nightclub. An eyewitness claimed that the two were being romantic and seemed to have rekindled their alleged love affair. The two reportedly glanced at each other fondly at the venue. They were said to be “glancing back at each other as if they were getting away with something.”

“Jake and Dakota were accompanied at their table by different people throughout the night — including the owner of the bar [that’s] so inaccessible to the public that it doesn’t even have a name. They left the venue through separate exits, Johnson out the front and Gyllenhaal via a back door,” an eyewitness told Radar Online.

Dakota, 25, is the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson. Jake, 34, is known for the many films he starred in, including “Prince of Persia” and “Brokeback Mountain”. The couple reportedly dated for a short time in 2011 and Gyllenhaal was said to have never gotten over Dakota. A source said that Jake continued to send her flowers in an attempt to win her back. In April 2015, Jake claimed that he was single, although there were rumors that he was dating Susan Sarandon recently. Dakota is reportedly single again, after breaking up with boyfriend Matthew Hitt in April.

Jake and Dakota’s representatives have yet to respond to the recent news or their reunion.

A recent update from Gossip Cop revealed that Gyllenhaal recently assured that he is not dating Dakota. A source close to Gossip Cop said that Jake and Dakota are not romantically involved. It also seemed that there is nothing romantic going on between Jake and Susan Sarandon.

In the meantime, Dakota Johnson is set to reprise her role as Anastasia Steele in the sequel of “Fifty Shades of Grey”, entitled “Fifty Shades Darker”. Her father, Don Johnson, shared to ET Online that Dakota requested him not to watch the sex-fueled film. Don said that he respected her wishes and up to now, has not seen his daughter’s film. In the movie, Dakota took on the role of a normal girl who developed a relationship with a rich businessman, Christian Grey, who is much into S&M.
