It seems that only Taylor Swift can outdo herself.

While there were no appearances from the American singer-songwriter's star-studded squad, Taylor has opted instead to have her loyal fans meet two royals from a different league, so to speak. On the first night of her five-consecutive 1989 World Tour Show, The "Blank Space" singer brought on-stage five-time NBA champion Kobe Bryant and OneRepublic singer-songwriter Ryan Tedder.

The country/pop singer invited Tedder on the stage to perform one of their smash hits "Counting Stars" from the OneRepublic's 2013 album "Native." While the performance was filled with high energy, it is quite evident that the song is not the best match for Swift's vocals. Still, the performance did its job as it is evident that the audience was thoroughly entertained. You can watch it here.

On Instagram, Swift shared a photo with Tedder bearing the caption, "It was so awesome to collaborate with him on 'Welcome to New York' and 'I Know Places,' then share the stage with him."

While singing another one of her hit singles "Style," Bryant, whose team's home base happens to be the venue of the 1989 World Tour Concert, appeared on stage, ESPN reported. "The screams you hear from an LA crowd when Kobe walks out onstage are so deafening you think you may have permanent hearing loss," Swift shared on Instagram as told by E! News. "But it was SO WORTH IT."

More importantly, Bryant also presented Swift with a "Championship Banner," recognizing her for the most sold-out shows at Staples Center. You can watch the clip here.

Swift has been bringing out a number of celebrities for her tour including and most recently female pop groups Fifth Harmony and Little Mix. According to E! News, other celebrities who attended her concert include "Bad Blood" video co-star Gigi Hadid and rumored boyfriend (and Swift's ex) Joe Jonas, Helen Hunt, "Real Housewives of Orange County" star Lizzie Rovzek, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Mark Wahlberg and "Law and Order SVU's" Mariska Hargitay, whose character on the show inspired Swift's cat's name.

The 1989 World Tour is the fourth concert tour of Swift which reflect her songs and work from her album entitled "1989," released last October 2014. The tour began in Tokyo, Japan last May 5 and is expected to end on Dec. 12 in Melbourne, Australia. It's expected to have seven shows in Asia, eight in Europ, 63 in North America and seven in Oceania. As of the show on Aug. 1, the tour has grossed $86.2 million so far, at 20 performances in the U.S. and Canada with 771,460 tickets sold at seven arenas and nine stadiums, as reported by Billboard
