The aficionados of the latest hair trend taking the world by storm are not women this time. They are men, and they are all going wild about the 'man bun' hairstyle.

By the looks of it, hair updos are no longer exclusive for women. Men can rock it too. In fact, Hollywood A-listers, such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Cris Hemsworth, David Beckham and even Brad Pitt had been wearing the hairstyle since 2014. Yahoo Style editor-in-chief Joe Zee opined that the main reason why men love the man bun is because of their girlfriends. He said, "Girlfriends are like, 'You know what? I want my guy to be rockin' a man bun because it's kind of cool and it's kind of hot," as quoted by ABC News.

As early as May this year, InStyle already had the compilation of photos of hot men celebrities who best wore the man bun in and out of the red carpet. Jared Leto, Joaquin Phoenix, Collin Farrell and Brad Pitt wore it during formal award ceremonies. Andrew Garfield, Jake Gyllenhaal, Chris Hemsworth, Kit Harington and Orlando Bloom were all pictured wearing it while out and about in the streets.

Outside of the red carpet, the charm of the man bun has already captivated Disneyland. As first reported by Yahoo, an Instagram account called the manbunsofdisneyland already has 21,000 followers to date. The account is dedicated to all men who rock the hairstyle in Disneyland. Other Instagram accounts called the manbunmonday has more than 200,000 followers and the Manbun Lifestyle has 64,000 followers.

While the man bun looks easy to do, Zee warned that not all men can rock the hairstyle. A man bun that is "too messy" could "looks sloppy," Zee said; but when man bun is "too done, it's like a red carpet hairdo." Man bun should come with "the whole look" of the person wearing it, Zee explained. He can grow the facial hair, wear a classic shirt or roll up the sleeves.

Thankfully, a fan of One Direction who attended the On The Road Again tour has recorded Harry Styles tying up his hair into a man bun. The video, which was first reported by MTV, may be the key for successfully pulling off the style.

In the video, Styles could be seen first gathering his hair with both hands. He makes sure he's collected all of his hair by stroking it again with his right hand and then his left hand. Styles then wraps his hair and twists it around for three times, leaving some of its ends loose from the tie. For the final touches, he pulls the bun apart. The actual video demonstration can be seen below.
