Latina actress Eva Longoria is offering her advice to President Barack Obama on what he should do after his term as America's leader ends in 2017.

In a report by The New York Times, Eva Longoria is one of the select few who are meeting with President Barack Obama during midnight sessions at the White House. The Mexican-American actress is part of a chosen group of high-profile who are advising the president about his next step after his term is over. Apart from Longoria, Obama is reportedly also seeking help from Malcolm Gladwell, Toni Morrison and John Doerr.

Although Obama publicly acts like there is no urgency in the future, he is actually carefully preparing for his post presidency in a manner that is packed with the same discipline and ambition that got him a seat in the White House back in 2008.

Supporters of Barack, like Longoria, advised him to avoid making the mistake that Bill Clinton made. Clinton's associates raised just enough money to build him a library in Little Rock, Arkansas which forced him to raise more money for years to come. Advisers of Obama have urged the president to raise at least $800 million. It's just enough money to avoid never-ending-fundraising.

According to Fox News Latino, Mr. Obama has raised $5.4 million so far that were given by 12 donors so far. The real push, they say, will come after he leaves the White House. The talks and meetings have mainly revolved around building a library and a global foundation.

Being one of Obama's trusted advisors is definitely a prestigious feat that the 40-year-old actress should be proud of. She has been a fervent supporter of the Obama administration especially with his immigration reform plans. Longoria was also co-chair in Obama's re-election campaign in 2012.

Apart from being an actress, Longoria is also the co-founder of the Latino Victory Project. It is a bi-partisan group that raises millions to be able to help Latino candidates.

With regards to the ongoing Presidential bid, Eva bumped heads with business mogul Donald Trump. When asked about her opinion about Trump, Longoria said that she didn't want to comment about the issue as it will add to the "emotional poison."

"It struck a chord within our community that touched our emotions so deep that I don't want to contribute to that poison being spread," Longoria said. "What I think he doesn't understand and what people don't understand is words create emotional poison. Hitler moved a nation with words, just words. So you have to expect this backlash. If you say something like that, as he has said, you must expect a backlash."
