Queen Bey, John Legend, Coldplay and Justin Timberlake have a new boot to date. Their hits were personally hand-picked by the United States President himself as the White House officially joins Spotify.

According to the official White House blog, Mr. Obama had a serious time choosing the songs to be included for the summer playlist. The staff had requested for him to "pick a few of his favorite songs for the summer," The White House noted. The President snatched a pen and a piece of paper and immediately wrote his personal picks. The end result was not just one but two playlists: one for daytime and another for nighttime.

The collections of songs are smorgasbords of both the classic and recent tracks. According to the White House, the President had chosen a selection of the classics from Nina Simone's blues sensation "Feelin'Good" and Temptations "Ain't Too Proud To Beg." These classics were mixed in with the latest tracks from Florence & the Machine and The Lumineers.

For the daytime playlist during this summer season, the President will be listening to "So Much Trouble in the World" by Bob Marley, "Paradise" by Coldplay, "Another Star" by Stevie Wonder, "Green Light" by John Legend, "Gimme Shelter" by Rolling Stones, "Rock Steady" by Aretha Franklin, "Pusher Love Girl" by Justin Timberlake and "Shake it Out" by Florence + The Machine.

The summer playlist for daytime listening also includes tracks from the Isley Brothers, Talib Kweli & Hi Tek, Bob Dylan, Mala Rodriquez, Howlin Wolf, Sly & the Family Stone, Low Cut Connie, Brandi Carlile, Nappy Roots, Okkeril River and Sonora Carruseles.

At night, Mr. Obama will be listening to "Superpower" by Beyonce and Frank Ocean, "The Best Is Yet to Come" by Frank Sinatra, "Stubborn Love" by The Lumineers, "Nothing Even Matters" by Lauryn Hill and "You Don't Know Me" by Ray Charles. The nighttime playlist includes tracks from John Coltrane, Van Morrison, Lianne La Havas, Al Green, Aoife O' Donovan, Mary J Blige, Joni Mitchell, Otis Redding, Leonard Cohen, Cassandra Wilson, Mos Def, Billie Holiday, Mile Davis and Erykah Badu.

According to a report from ABC News, the President is fond of singing along to Al Green. He was last heard singing Al green's "Let's Stay Together" in December of 2012 during a fundraiser event at New York City's Apollo Theater, TIME reported.

With the release of the official Spotify playlists by the White House, the public may infer that the President is belting out to these songs as he spends summer vacation in Martha's Vineyard, ABC said.
