HTC already announced the release of the Desire 526 and Desire 626 smartphone models in July 2015. The two handsets will soon become available to Verizon Wireless post-paid and prepaid customers. The Motorola Moto X Pure Edition will also be launching in September.

HTC Desire 526 model will be exclusive to Verizon Wireless. The device features a 4.7-inch QHD display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. It also has an 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front shooter. The smartphone has 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, microSD card support and a 2,000mAh battery. The HTC Desire 526 will become available in stores and online beginning August 13, 2015 for only $5 a month for a 24-month plan and 0% APR for a full retail price of $120.

HTC Desire 626 features a 5-inch display and has a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The handset is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front shooter, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, expandable via a microSD card, and a 2,000 mAh battery. The device has a dual-tone color design. HTC did not yet announce the price, but it is expected to be affordable, especially with the available plans offered by the carrier, based on a report by Verizon Wireless.

The two HTC smartphones will run on the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor, clocked at 1.1GHz. These will run on the Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and feature LTE connectivity.

As for the Motorola Moto X Pure Edition, the official website stated that the handset is set to be released on September 3, 2015 at a starting price of $399.99. The device has universal LTE banding which will make it functional for all major carriers in the United States.

The Moto X Pure Edition will feature a 5.7-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a pixel density of 520ppi. The screen will also have Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC with a hexa-core 1.8 GHz CPU and the Adreno 418 GPU. The product will include 3GB of RAM and the internal memory will range from 16GB of 64GB, expandable to 128GB via a microSD card. The Moto X Pure Edition will also present a 21-megapixel rear camera with an aperture of f/2.0and a 3,000mAh battery. The smartphone is also designed with 4G LTE support and is protected by nanocoating on the exterior.
