The famed Gucci sisters are reportedly selling a luxury penthouse in Manhattan, New York City for $45 million. The plush home comes with various high-end features and breathtaking views.

The listing was made by Daniela V. Rivoir, an agent of Brown Harris Stevens. Wall Street Journal reported that the duplex is located on the 50th and 51st floors of the Olympic Tower on Fifth Avenue in Midtown, Manhattan. The penthouse spans 9,500 square feet, where two units were combined to provide more space. The penthouse offers views of the Chrysler Building, Empire State Building, the Statute of Liberty, New York Harbor and One World Trade Center. It also has two kitchens, one for the owner and another for the staff, two internal elevators, two staircases, two wood-burning fireplaces, 14-foot ceilings,a skylight in the library, and a whirlpool bath in the main en suite.

Alessandra and Allegra Gucci are the daughters of the late Maurizio Gucci, former head of the fashion house and grandson of brand founder Guccio Gucci. Maurizio purchased the apartment during the 1970s. In 2010, the family rented out the space for $60,000 a month. There is a tenant in the stylish penthouse at the moment.

“Now we’ve grown up, our needs have changed and we spend most of our time in Europe,” the Gucci sisters stated in the same Wall Street Journal article.

Gucci is currently part of Kering, which is based in Paris. The sisters have no role in the company.

Stuff.co cited that the property was listed as the “Gucci Penthouse”, which includes seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Business Insider presented images of the luxury apartment. The master bedroom is located in one corner of the penthouse and has a large dressing room. The master bathroom is huge, with a rainfall shower head. One shower even has a view of the Empire State Building. The office has floor-to-ceiling windows.

The entire place was decorated in modernist fashion, with a white palette and wall-to-wall windows. The new age feel was balanced by warm features such as the skylight and faux fireplace. There are 28 full-length windows, according to Brown Harris Stevens. Being one of the most prestigious locations on the block, the building at 641 Fifth Avenue offers amazing panoramic views of downtown Manhattan.

In June 2015, a two-bedroom apartment on the 33rd floor of the same building sold for $4.95 million. The penthouse is also available to be sold to a corporate entity.
