Not interested in standing in long Black Friday lines in order to snatch up a good deal for the holidays? If you're a T-Mobile customer, then you're in luck, because the wireless provider is holding a pre-holiday sale this weekend, November 16-17, that will include the wildly popular Samsung Galaxy S3.

T-Mobile is offering five 4G Samsung smartphones for free after a mail-in rebate and standard two-year contract during the weekend sale. The five phones on sale are the Samsung Galaxy S3 4G, the Samsung Galaxy S2 4G, the Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G, the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G, and the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit 4G. Keep in mind that T-Mobile will not have LTE up and running until next year, and these handsets are limited to 4G only.

Customers will have to sign up for a qualifying unlimited Classic plan or a new qualifying Unlimited Value plan with an Equipment Installment Plan in order to receive the mail-in rebates that will make the handsets free.

The reason for the early sale lies in a survey conducted by Kelton Research, which found that shoppers don't particularly find Black Friday appealing. Apparently, 51 percent responded that nothing could convince them to wait in line.

"If getting a great deal on your gift purchases is important, and you prefer to limit your time in holiday checkout lines, then this T-Mobile promotional offer could be for you," said Andrew Sherrard, senior vice president of marketing, T-Mobile USA. "We think this offer will be particularly attractive for families who would like every member to have a mobile device but don't think it fits their budget. This promotion will make it easier for consumers to join the smartphone revolution by making the best devices and data plans more affordable."

If you're a T-Mobile customer, this is one great opportunity to get one of the most popular and powerful smartphones in the world - the Galaxy S3 - for free. T-Mobile also recently released Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean for its Galaxy S3, making it only the second wireless carrier in the United States to do so.
