There could be a new power couple in "House of Cards" as well as a rumored baby, according to Movie News Guide.

For its new season, highly acclaimed political drama, "House of Cards," will be featuring new characters that are believed to rival the star couple, Claire (Robin Wright) and Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey), who is also reportedly adopting a baby despite being on the brink of divorce.

Deadline notes that Neve Campbell will be joining the cast of the Netflix drama. Although her role is yet to be identified, it has been speculated that the former "Party Of Five" and "Scream" star will be part of the new power couple that will allegedly go head-to-head with Frank and Claire to put their election and political dreams into disaster. However, there isn't any reported casting for Campbell's possible husband for season 4 of the hit TV series.

In addition, Movie News Guide states that in the season 3 finale, Claire is seen to have a worsening relationship with her husband, declaring that she will leave him even at a critical time as Frank sets his eyes for re-election as the U.S. President. This will reportedly lead the couple to adopt a baby in season 4, in hopes of fixing their strained marriage.

The news outlet also notes that the new season of the award-winning drama will give emphasis on the marriage and relationship of Claire and Frank.

"I think [Claire] is very much in love with her husband when we start this series, and she may still be in love with him when we get to the final episode of Season 3. But this union is not making her the person she wants to be. And maybe this man is no longer the man that she needs. That's where we leave it," show creator, Beau Willimon, told Huffington Post when asked if the Underwoods can exist without each other.

On the other hand, "House of Cards" season 4 will also possibly see the death of a major character. According to a report from Enstars, Doug Stamper (Michael Kelly) will be killed in the coming season, but the rumor has been shut down.

"I was alive at the end of three, that's all I can say. I wouldn't be surprised if Beau was behind my bedroom door right now. I put nothing past him," Kelly told Deadline in an interview.

"House of Cards" will be back on Netflix in 2016, but the first official mini-trailer for the season is expected to be released in December 2015. Also, a full-length trailer of the show is reported to be shown in February 2016, days before its official premiere.
