Is Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith the next Hollywood couple to go down Splitsville lane?

The couple have been, once again, hit by divorce rumors, with the latest one alleging that the pair "came up with a solid confidential settlement that protects both their $240 million fortune and two children," Hollywood Life said.

"For Will and Jada, holding it together these past few years has been tough because their marriage has been on life support for a long time," an insider was quoted by the site as saying, based on RadarOnline's report. "They're exhausted from trying to maintain the façade of a happy union."

The actor then went on to debunk the allegations on social media, and was supported by his missus in dismissing the gossip.

"Under normal circumstances, I don't usually respond to foolishness. (Because it's contagious) But, so many people have extended me their "deepest condolences" that I figured - 'What the hell... I can be foolish, too!'" the actor's Facebook post said.

"So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over-again-ness... Jada and I are... NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!! : -) I promise you all - if I ever decide to divorce my Queen - I SWEAR I'll tell you myself! ‪#‎Dumb‬ People Should Have to Wear Scarlet D's"

The "Gotham" star then went on Twitter to support her husband's statement: "My king has spoken."

Back in June, the actress had touched on rumors about her husband's infidelity by saying that trusting is important in relationships.

"You've got to trust who you're with," Time quoted her as saying. "And at the end of the day, I'm not here to be anybody's watcher. I'm not his watcher. He's a grown man."

It can be recalled that the "Suicide Squad" star had been previously linked to co-star Margot Robbie some time ago. The actress have also figured in cheating rumors in 2011, with webloids alleging she had gotten involved with "HawthoRNe" co-star Marc Anthony, MSN said.

"Smith met Pinkett Smith in 1994 while shooting his long-running NBC sitcom; she auditioned to be his love interest Lisa Wilkes, a role that eventually went to Nia Long. Still, they became friends, dated, then wed on Dec. 31, 1997," Los Angeles Times recalled.

The publication also noted that the actor had spoken in April about being sad about losing his wife and how wrong the rumors reported by TMZ were.

"In that brief moment my heart jumped for a second," he said. "And I started to imagine what my life would've been like without that woman, you know? And we've been together for 20 years.... As I thought what my life would be like and what the world would be like without her it made me sad, and I'm just standing here today happy that TMZ had it wrong."

On another note, a number of divorce rumors have accurately foreboded an eventual split, as in the case of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. Keep watching this space for updates!
