The world's favorite male supermodel is back with a vengeance. The teaser trailer for the highly anticipated "Zoolander 2" will not disappoint fans as the camera weaves through the brain of the famed protagonist Derek Zoolander in the first several seconds of the trailer before zooming out to show him in all his tanned, plucked glory. It wasn't Stephen Hawking taking you on a ride across the cosmos after all.

"If God exists, then why did he make ugly people?" Classic Zoolander. Fourteen years after the original film's debut, it seems the dim-witted Derek is no smarter than he was in 2001 as he expresses confusion over the film title. Don't worry, he is also no less hilarious as he narrows his eyes and pouts for the camera in between lines.

There's no doubt the film will be shooting little nuggets of comedy gold to the audience, with a cast that is even more star-studded than the original.

Ben Stiller, just as committed to his "Blue Steel" as he was a decade ago, reprises his role as the male fashion icon, along with Owen Wilson, who plays former rival and fellow model Hansel McDonald. The pair is joined by Will Ferrell and Christine Taylor from the first installment, plus new castmates Penelope Cruz, Kristen Wiig, Olivia Munn, Billy Zane, Fred Armisen and many more.

The sequel to the beloved cult classic has been a few years in the making, in the development stage as far back as 2008 when Ben Stiller talks about it in an interview.

Eventually, details are leaked by the original cast including Stiller, Wilson and Ferrell regarding the movie, much to the delight of long-time fans who want more from the founders of "The Derek Zoolander Center for Kids Who Can't Read Good and Wanna Learn to Do Other Stuff Good Too."

While the original installment ended on a happy note of Derek, Hansel and Matilda living happily out of the limelight, "Zoolander 2" will take Derek and Hansel back to where they belong: in the runway.

The duo is set to face new competition in the fashion industry - and hopefully come out on top in total hilarity. In a bid to build hype for the upcoming sequel, Stiller and Wilson took to the catwalk as their famous characters for the Paris Fashion Week last March during the Valentino show.

"Zoolander 2" will hit theaters on February 2016.
