The long process of choosing the next Spider-Man has finally ended with Tom Holland as Marvel Cinematic Universe's new web head. As it would seem, rumors about the "Spider-Man" reboot has not slowed down a bit -- with names surfacing such as Jason Biggs, Billy Zane and even Hugh Laurie being part of the cast.

With most of the information on this article being rumors, readers should tread lightly.

According to Latino-Review, the latest Spidey-related hearsay involves a Twitter photo from the Russo Brothers (Anthony and Joseph Russo, directors of "Captain America: Civil War"). The brothers were allegedly posting props and what seemed to be Spider-Man's new costume for the movie.

So far, the rest of the pictures uploaded in the Twitter account may look cryptic one way or another.

Latino-Review also cited an image that was first claimed as a concept art of Spider-Man's costume for his "Captain America: Civil War" movie cameo. The image, accessible via Screen Rant, was later described as a fan art drawn by Pietro Scola Di Mambro several years ago.

The image appears to drop the color blue from the web slinger's costume. What would remain are colors black and red.

But what could be the most interesting bit of information is this picture which lists the cast members of the "Spider-Man" movie -- with Tom Holland landing the title role. The rest of the alleged cast include: Billy Zane as Adrian Toomes a.k.a. The Vulture; Jason Biggs from "American Pie" movie series as Mac Gargan a.k.a. The Scorpion; Marisa Tomei as Aunt May and Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man. A rather surprising part of the list is Hugh Laurie as J. Jonah Jameson.

Peter's love interest, Mary Jane Watson, is reported to be played by Rachel G. Fox, an actress that most people have little information about, Movie Web noted. Timothée Chalamet will play as Pete's best friend and future villain, Harry Osborn. Liz Allen, MJ's best friend, will be portrayed by Sami Gayle from CBS' "Blue Bloods" series. Flash Thompson will be played by Jacob Latimore, Betty Brant played by Miranda Cosgrove from "School of Rock," Forest Whitaker as Robbie Robertson, and Tyler Posey as Ned Leeds. Quite the curious placement as Ned is fated to become the second Hobgoblin just like Harry will become the Green Goblin.

In this reboot of the "Spider-Man" franchise, it is speculated that Peter Parker will be presented as a whole lot younger than his predecessors. Fans will see Pete struggling to balance school and hero work. He will be a lot more vulnerable and emotionally-unstable. Peter will show viewers a teenage boy in high school who wields great power, which comes with great responsibilities.

"Captain America: Civil War" releases on May 6, 2016, where Tom Holland makes his debut as Spider-Man. The "Spider-Man" standalone reboot is scheduled for July 28, 2017.
