After getting negative criticisms about her donut-licking incident, how is Ariana Grande?

The tide of haters has subsided for the "One Last Time" singer especially since the young star will not be facing any charges for her donut-licking mischief. In a report by Master Herald, the owner of the donut shop decided not to file any charges against the 22-year-old singer. This came after investigation revealed that the popstar did not actually buy the donuts that she licked.

Many fans are keen for updates on what their idol has been doing now that the issue has taken its cool. The "Break Free" singer is reportedly focused on her upcoming horror-comedy TV series, "Scream Queens." The show is about a campus plagued by a series of killings.

During the ComicCon event in San Diego, showrunner Ryan Murphy held a presentation for his two shows, "American Horror Story" and "Scream Queens," for an hour. Aside from Grande, the cast also includes Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd and Abigail Breslin.

Grande described her character in the show as the least daring one. She also admitted that she has been a long-time fan of Murphy's work.

Apart from the donut-licking incident, Grande was also criticized for her "I hate America" comment. The singer issued an immediate apology right after, stating that she was misunderstood. Grande defended herself by saying that she was referring to the obesity level that is affecting America.

In an article by Access Hollywood, Grande made a second apology with a video message, titled "Sorry Babes." She detailed her sincere apology and clarified that she is proud to be American.

"I just wanted to make a video to apologize again for the whole donut fiasco and craziness. Because I feel like the apology that I posted, I kind of missed my opportunity to actually sincerely apologize and express how I was feeling," the singer said. She added, "Because I reacted in a way that wasn't necessary, to say the least, but also just wasn't me at all. I apologize for my poor choice of words and for my behavior. Seeing how ugly it looks when you behave a certain way makes you want to never behave that way again."

The star is currently on her "Honeymoon" tour. The singer did a kick start last July 16 in Tampa, Florida. For this week, her whole team is headed to Kentucky. The tour will end in October and will have a few stops in Asia.
