Apple recently released its third ad in its new campaign. The new “Amazing Apps” ad presented the different apps offered on the App Store.

Mac Rumors reported that the third ad in the series was launched just 10 days after Apple presented its latest iPhone ad. The initial commercials featured the tagline, “If it’s not an iPhone, it’s not an iPhone.”

The new ad was entitled “Amazing Apps”, giving reference to the wide array of apps available on the App Store. The ad was first shown on Sunday, July 19, 2015, and lasted 30 seconds.

The video focused on user access to the iOS App Store and the more than 1.5 million titles that it offered. The ad reminded users that “If it’s not an iPhone, it’s not an iPhone.”

As the background music played, the narrator stated, "This is an iPhone. And it comes with something amazing: an App Store with over one and a half million of the best apps available. That's over one and a half million hand-picked, awe-inspiring, just-plain-surprising, who-knew-a-phone-could-do-that apps."

A barrage of iPhones were featured with various titles being shown on the screens. The titles varied greatly, ranging from educational and productivity apps to games and media players. The final scene presented an iPhone kaleidoscope, with apps running and grouped together according to color, based on a report by Apple Insider.

In the end, the familiar tagline appeared, “If it’s not an iPhone, it’s not an iPhone.”

The third ad is expected to generate positive reviews from Apple fans, similar to the first two sets. The first set in 2014 featured Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon, who presented the powerful capabilities of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. Based on another report by Mac Rumors, the first 2014 ad, entitled “Gamers”, focused on the A8 chip of the iPhone 6. The ad showcased the excellent performance that the new chip can provide by running the multiplayer online game “Vainglory”. The second ad in the set, “Reservations”, delved more into the smartphone’s ability to make relay calls.

The recent ad, entitled “Shot on iPhone 6”, presented the various capabilities of the powerful iPhone 6 camera.

The Verge wrote that in the past years, Apple ads have been successful in linking technology to family and other essential aspects of people’s lives. This time, the focus is more on the quantity of the available apps on its online store.
