Is she pregnant or on the verge of being burned out? According to Meghan Trainor, she is neither.

Meghan Trainor's New Jersey and Connecticut concerts have been rescheduled in the wake of the singer's vocal issues. And she apparently is as disappointed and unhappy as her fans at this unwelcome development.

"I don't want anyone worrying but I have had a haemorrhage on my vocal chords. Right now, the doctors want me on complete vocal rest until they are healed so I have to postpone my first two shows in Atlantic City and Connecticut. I promise that I will make it up to my Megatronz. I have never missed a tour date before so this is killing me. I love you all very much and want to get healed quickly so I can show you this amazing tour we've been working on. I am truly sorry to everyone who has bought tickets and made travel plans. I hate this," her Instagram post explained.

She also captioned the photo message with the following: "I'm so sorry Megatronz please forgive me. I will never speak and completely heal as soon as possible so I can show you how hard we've been working on this #MTRAINTOUR"

Vocal chord hemorrhage have plagued a number of other singers, such as Sam Smith and Adele. Both were able to recover enough to return to singing again.

"A vocal hemorrhage occurs when a small blood vessel located within the vocal fold bursts. This results in blood leaking into the vocal fold and occurs with forceful, aggressive, or incorrect voice use," laryngologist Dr. Reena Gupta explained in a post featured by the Osborne Head & Neck Institute.

She went on to explain that it is similar to a bruise on any part of the body.

"Once the blood vessel ruptures and blood has leaked into the vocal fold, all that is usually needed is avoiding 'hitting' your vocal fold again," she pointed out. "In this case, that means complete voice rest for a week while the blood reabsorbs." "If you rest completely for that week, you should have no negative consequences. If you don't rest, the blood will persist and cause scarring," she concluded.

Trainor's postponement of the July 3 and and 4 concert dates were a bid to help her recover enough to be fit to perform in the other dates of her current tour, the MTrain tour. It is her second major concert series, according to E! News.

Her next concert date will be July 7 in Michigan.
