Some new "Half Life 3" details may have surfaced online as Valve themselves admitted that something is going on with the "Half Life" franchise.

According to a report by Hercules Reyes of Vine Report, it was alleged that Valve has teased that a new game from them would be available next year and that it would be "Half Life 3".

Reyes reports that Valve recently gave a hint that a new game is coming and that a recent blunder allegedly made by Valve has allegedly confirmed that "Half Life 3" is indeed coming.

According to the report, the logo and the teaser poster for "Half Life 3" was allegedly published on the the official Valve website.

The report mentioned that fans of the fans learned of this and news about the new poster and logo for "Half Life 3" was spread around the internet. However Reyes wrote that Valve has removed all traces of the "Half Life 3" logo and poster from the site.

It should be noted that this is not the first time Valve has leaked details from "Half Life 3", months ago, it was reported by KdramaStars that users found "Half Life 3" in the official Steam Database. Valve also removed the entry of the game from the Steam Database once it was discovered.

As was noted by Arash Fekhri of Master Herald, It was highly expected that Valve would announce something huge for E3 2015 and fans were eagerly awaiting Gabe Newell's announcement regarding the game but when it didn't pan out, fans quickly reacted on the internet as to why "Half Life 3" can't come soon enough.

The report noted that Valve could give the franchise to other developers who can continue the franchise but warned that fans may not like the idea of the franchise changing hands. Fekhri likens the change to a film franchise changing directors and that often leads to a movie that is completely different from the others.

But Vine Report gives some fans some much needed optimism for the project as Valve, via Kotaku, has admitted that they are working on some VR projects using "Half Life" assets. This could mean that the company could be developing a "Half Life" game for VR.

"So yeah, we'll grab some headcrabs, we'll grab the machine guns from Half-Life, the rocket launcher-all those different fun things-and see how they play in VR. But right now, it's a tool for exploring the different kind of game designs we want to do," said Jeep Barnett of Valve.
