Officially, there isn't much information on Frozen 2 except for the fact that the movie is confirmed. As for fan-based speculations, there are quite a few that are newsworthy.

Fans all know about Princess Anna and Kristoff getting all mushy near the end of the Frozen. Speculations say that the fruits of the princess and the ice merchant's love will be shown in the sequel, a possible wedding scene for Anna and Kristoff.

Who will ride in a valiant steed to woe the ice queen of Arendelle is still in the air? Fans are looking for Queen Elsa's other half and has sprung some very interesting rumors. One such hearsay was reported by VCPost, saying that Olaf might take the stage as Elsa's love interest. The lovable snowman who likes warm hugs might get a transformation with the help of Elsa, and might become the dashing match for the powerful queen.

A new villain will also rise to wreak havoc and ruin for the cool characters. Master Herald reports that there might be some connection between Frozen 2 and Ozma of Oz. There is but a tiny bit of information as to how closely the link between the two titles.

One thing is clear though; Idina Menzel (Elsa), Kristen Bell (Anna), Josh Grad (Olaf) and Jonathan Groff (Kristoff) will be back for the next instalment. Additional characters and the official plot still eludes fans.

The spin-off of "Frozen," officially named "Frozen Fever," was exclusively shown on the big screen as a short film alongside the movie adaptation "Cinderalla." This could imply that Frozen is moving into a larger franchise. Fans have been discussing about the movie branching out in new fields such as another spin-off movie and a possible Disney Chanel television series. Still, these are just all speculations.

Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee will be on the director's chair while Lee will write the movie's screenplay. Both Lee and Buck are under a lot of pressure due to the fact that Frozen was dubbed as 'the highest grossing animated movie of all time' due to its massive success in both the big screen and DVD release.

The director has stated an ending to Frozen 2 has already been agreed upon. Their job now is to properly steer the movie towards the agreed ending. Information about what else Frozen 2 has to offer is strictly below the radar as of now. All that is known is the sequel will be in cinemas by 2018.
