Pink iPhone 6S With 12-Megapixel Camera Arriving Soon? Specs, Features, Release Date & Rumors Here!

The new iPhone 6S will be arriving soon in an attractive tone.

Phone Arena reported that images of a new pink iPhone 6S surfaced on Chinese social media site Weibo, confirming the existence of such a device. The product featured a 12-megapixel camera and 4K video recording. Based on the photos, the new iPhone has a rose-tinted aluminum alloy back, buttons and sides. It also has a white fascia. The new pink and rose gold iPhone colors is certainly geared towards female users.

Techno Buffalo revealed that aside from the new pink color, the iPhone 6S will most likely be the same as the current model. Aside from catering to female buyers, the new color can become popular in China. Apple previously mentioned that its designs should particularly be appealing to Chinese tastes, resulting to a handset in gold color.

Aside from the 12-megapixel shooter, the iPhone 6S is expected to include a 2GB of RAM, a new Qualcomm chip that will offer faster performance and Force Touch capabilities. The device will most likely be announced by Apple in September 2015.

MacWorld wrote that Ming-Chi Kuo from KGI Securities presented a number of key features that will most likely appear on the upcoming model. The screen size will most likely be the same at 4.7 inches. The device is said to run on an A9 processor and a new casing material and internal mechanical design will be used to prevent bending. Mass production of the iPhone 6S is rumored to begin in August and there may be 90 million shipments in 2015. Apple recently applied for a patent of a new anodized material that might take out the unappealing lines on the back of the iPhone. The new phone may also be thicker and longer to accommodate the Force Touch technology.

MacWorld added that there may be improvements in the Touch ID and screen durability. A new kind of glass called “Project Phire” may replace Sapphire but still provide the same resistance against drops, damage and scratches. Waterproofing is also rumored to be in the works together with a facial recognition system. The device might feature wireless charging and run on the iOS 9. All of the mentioned features and capabilities may not be available at once, but Apple might continue to unveil these in the following months after the official release.
