With Wrestlemania 31 proving to be a big hit last March, plans for Wrestlemania 32 seem to be underway.

The annual WWE extravaganza drew in record-setting revenue of $12.6 million where about 76, 976 people were on hand at the Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Can the WWE top that?

The WWE plans to hold Wrestlemania 32 on April 3, 2016 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas and the Vince McMahon and company intend to fill up the stadium by pitting matches that the WWE universe wants to see.

One match that has long been rumoured is the much awaited face-off between the Undertaker and Sting.

The two would have met at Wrestlemania 31 but the WWE had other plans and had Sting facing off against WWE COO Triple H. Undertaker battled against Bray Wyatt instead during the same event.

The Triple H vs Sting match was not just any ordinary matchup. It had sidelights which saw the New World Order (Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash) and Degeneration-X (Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, X-Pac and Shawn Michaels) appearing at ringside, bringing back memories when both factions were at their peak.

Triple H off course won the match but in the end, both men shook hands as a sign of respect.

Could the WWE do better next year with an Undertaker vs Sting match?

Ironically, both wrestlers did share the same locker and apparently had light talk on possible facing off next year. Many believed that the botched face-off will finally take place next year but that was until Vince McMahon came into the picture.

Apparently, the WWE CEO is not sold to idea despite the impending task of filling up the 100,000 stadium in the air.

With that dream match shot down, what matches could McMahon possibly come up with and fill up the Cowboys Stadium. If not, what does he have under his sleeve to at least do a little better than what Wrestlemania 31 was able to churn out?

Aside from that rumoured dream match, there was a possible match involving Dwayne ‘the Rock’ Johnson and UFC Womens Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

It will be recalled that Rousey’s appearance at Wrestlemania 31 was another reason for the success of the said event and that is were rumors of the mixed tag match started.

All this was, however, shot down when UFC President Dana White called it a “one-and-done” deal.
