The new "Steve Jobs" movie trailer is out and it looks like it's worth two minutes of your time.

"Universal Pictures has released the first full trailer for Steve Jobs, the film starring Michael Fassbender, directed by Academy Award-winner Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours, Trainspotting) and written by Academy Award-winner Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network, Moneyball, A Few Good Men)," /FILM said. "You may recall that Sony released a one minute Steve Jobs teaser trailer during the final episode of Mad Men. The new trailer gives us a better look at the upcoming film."

According to the official synopsis of the film, the movie covers three "iconic" product launches and ends in 1998 with the introduction of the iMac to the world.

"Steve Jobs takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution to paint an intimate portrait of the brilliant man at its epicenter," the synopsis went on to reveal.

The clip begins with a voiceover from Rogen, who asked what makes Jobs a genius.

"You're not an engineer, you're not a designer, you can't put a hammer to a nail... what is it you do?'" Rogen, playing Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, queried.

"Musicians play the instruments... I play the orchestra," Jobs replied, as quoted by MailOnline.

The scenes that follow show Jobs in his element as a difficult boss marching to the beat of his own drum.

The trailer also features Kate Winslet, who plays former Macintosh marketing head Joanna Hoffman. Jeff Daniels also appears in the clip as the former Apple CEO John Scully.

"'Boardwalk Empire' star Michael Stuhlbarg is starring as one of the Mac's original developers, Andy Hertzfeld," MailOnline said. "'Inherent Vice' star Katherine Waterston portrays Jobs' ex-girlfriend and the mother of his child, Chrisann Brennan, while Perla Haney-Jardine is playing their daughter, Lisa Brennan-Jobs."

The film is based on the Walter Isaacson biography of the tech giant's founder and was supposed to star Leonardo DiCaprio. However, Christian Bale was later announced as the actor who would take on the role late last year.
Then, in January this year, it was announced that Fassbender would assume the leading role. And now, the film has been slated for an October 9 release - a time frame that is coincidentally close to Apple's traditional schedule for unveiling new products.

This is not the first time a film about Jobs has been made. In 2013, "Jobs" was released, starring Ashton Kutcher in the titular role. However, the movie was not well received by critics. Will the upcoming biopic get a better reception?
