E3 2015 is about to end and fans are still eagerly waiting for new about “Elder Scrolls 6” from Bethesda.

VC Post reported that there are rumors that the next installment will be called “Argonia”, although Bethesda still needs to confirm. There are also talks that the setting of the game might feature more of “Skyrim” than “Morrowind”. Some fans believe that the location will either be in Tamriel or Summerset Isles.

Elder Scrolls 6” might release at the end of 2015 or in January 2016. Crossmap stated that the latest period that the game will launch will most likely be in 2017. “Argonia” seems to be the more appropriate title compared to “Redguard”. Both names were trademarked by Bethesda but there is no certainty whether they will actually use it in the actual title.

Ubisoft also conducted a survey which presented that Bethesda might actually be working on “Elder Scrolls 6”. Based on the survey, the next installment will most likely take after “Skyrim” more than “Morrowind”. Fans are still anticipating that the game developer would use the positive aspects of the two titles in the new game.

Bethesda has been successful in keeping the details of the upcoming game secret. Based on its previous release patterns, Bethesda releases a new version of “Elder Scrolls” every four years at least. The last game, “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim”, was released in 2011 with three DLC add-ons. Apparently, the next installment will take longer than usual. The game will be playable on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Studio head Pete Hines, told the Telegraph, “I don't know if we'll do one next year. I don't know if we'll do one again. This year felt like the right time to do this kind of thing.

He added, “I We get asked a lot, I sort of tell people we're figuring things out. We're taking our time, we're extremely excited about it and the reason we're kind of holding back right now is because we want to wait until it's really there to show it to everybody. We don't want to kind of dribble it out, we'd rather say, you know, 'surprise, boom, here it is.' And make sure that moment of learning about something and seeing for the first time is really... I enjoy those moments for other games so we'd rather hold back and wait and just surprise everybody.”

This can mean that “Elder Scrolls 6” will take a while to launch, considering how the studio has just announced “Fallout 4”.
