The revelation of the gameplay of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" at the recent E3 2015 left fans of the title clamoring for the game's immediate release. Developer Naughty Dog's inability to provide a specific date for the title's launch has only whet gamers' appetite for treasure hunting even more.

Thankfully, the company is quite considerate of the gaming itch and has thus pledged to ensure that the game will be ready for the world and will definitely deliver the goods as promised. It has also decided to unveil an Extended Gameplay Demo later this week for fans' enjoyment - and to make the wait a bit more bearable.

"Naughty Dog has taken to their Twitter to officially announce the reveal of 'Uncharted 4's' E3 2015 Extended Gameplay Demo on July 1, 11:00AM PST, via the streaming service Twitch," Game Rant said. "With little else to go on other than a GIF of Nathan Drake clasping his brother Sam's waist on a motorcycle as they attempt to outrun what appears to be an armored military truck, it's a wonder what footage Naughty Dog will air."

The site went on to speculate that the company will probably show the second part of the 15-minute gameplay trailer that Sony had said it will show during E3 2015. Those who have not seen the said trailer may be anticipating Wednesday's reveal, as it may also give gamers more clues and information about the upcoming game.

"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" is currently set for a spring 2016 release via PlayStation 4. Based on screenshots and trailers released by the game's developer, it appears the upcoming title is on track to being the best of the series, particularly with its stunningly crisp graphics. According to Polygon, even the puddles are "transfixing."

"When developers Naughty Dog was invited to speak at Gnomon School of Visual Effects, Games & Animation earlier this week, they managed to impress the audience with quite a few things, including a short video of ... a puddle," the site said.

Aside from the mesmerizing graphics, the game will reportedly allow users to drive vehicles during gameplay.

"Naughty Dog is calling it 'wide-linear', a sort-of-rubbish name for a world that offers explorative choices while retaining a compelling, linear narrative," Games Radar said. "Yes, you can drive a car through marrows, but you'll also enjoy a nuanced story and deft characterisation."

Speaking about the story, gamers will be in for more Drakes as Nathan Drake's long-lost sibling Sam will be appearing in the game, bringing an element of surprise.

"Sam is apparently being hunted by the same group seen in the demo," the site said. "After escaping from their pursuers, Sam and Nate meet up with Sully to discuss their goal: the legendary pirate city of Libertalia, off the coast of Madagascar."
