Bobbie Kristina Brown's condition has taken a turn for the worse. Pat Houston, her aunt, announced on Wednesday that she's been moved to hospice care, according to CNN.

Hospice care is usually given to patients with terminal illness. This type of specialized care provides peace, comfort, and dignity to people not expected to live over six months.

"Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition has continued to deteriorate," said Aunt Pat Houston in a statement. "As of today, she has been moved into hospice care. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God's hands now."

In an uncanny resemblance to her mother's death back in 2012, Bobbi Kristina was found face down in a tub in her Roswell, Ga., home, on January 30. The reasons why she was found like this still remains unclear. Georgia police have yet to announce their findings nor brought any charges against anyone.

Months of treatment in two Atlanta hospitals and a rehab facility failed to alleviate Bobbie Kristina's condition. Bobby Brown, her father, and her immediate family are with her to provide all the comfort she needs to ease her passing. Boyfriend Nick Gordon, on the other hand, was refused by Brown's family to see her for reasons still unknown.

Many of Brown's family members believe that Gordon is primarily responsible for the incidents leading to Brown being found in her tub last January. Reports have also come in that Gordon has accessed Brown's bank accounts while his girlfriend has been in the hosptial. While Gordon was unavailable to make any statements about Brown, he did post on his twitter account that "We keep Praying, she (Brown) has faught long and hard this long don't give up hope.

Grandmother and gospel singer icon Emily "Cissy" Houston has been blunt about Bobbi Kristina's condition not improving. Doctors told "Cissy" in April that her granddaughter suffered "global irreversible brain damage" and that she remained unresponsive.

A Brown family source tells USA Today, "She's skin and bones now. She has been losing weight, she's been losing hair. They were taking good care of her, but she has no muscle tone at all. There has been some worry that her organs are shutting down."

Bobbie Kristina Brown could breathe her last at any time. Though hope seems frail at this point, family and friends of hers can only do what they can to make her remaining days as comfortable as possible.

The papers to move Bobbi Kristina to hospice care were signed by Pat Houston. Pat Houston is the executor of the Bobbi Kristina's late mother's, singing superstar Whitney Houston, estate.
