“Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden” will be coming to the West.It will be the second “Dragon Ball Z” title released by the game publisher in 2015. The game was not presented at E3 2015 but fans were delighted to discover that it will be arriving this year.

Bandai Namco made the official announcement on Twitter that the game “Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden” will become available on the Nintendo 3DS in the Middle-East, Europe and Australasia beginning October 16, 2015, and then the Americas on October 20. No demo version of the game has been announced or launched in the United States at the moment but it is already available in Japan.

HerveHoerdt, vice president of Marketing & Digital at Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe said, “Bandai Namco is listening to fans and will keep on surprising them over the next few years. In the meantime, everybody will enjoy a high-quality fighting game based on one of the most emblematic Anime & Manga ever created!”

IGN reported that there will be 20 playable characters and the game will also include over 100 support characters and several amazing features that will keep fans glued. The full character roster was unveiled in May 2015 by V-Jump magazine, and translated by ShonenGamez. There will also be two Z-Assist characters namely Jaco and Gine. A special Super Saiyan God SS Goku will be available for gamers who transfer their saves from the demo version to the full game.

The list featured Gohan, Krillin, Son Goku, Nappa, Raditz, Piccolo, Full Power Freeza, Ginyu, Vegeta, Super Saiyan Trunks, Super SaiyanVegeta, Super SaiyanGoku, Perfect Cell, Super Saiyan Son Gohan, Android 18, Mister Buu, Young Adult Super Saiyan Son Gohan, Young Adult-Mystic Son Gohan, Super Saiyan God Son Goku, Super SaiyanGotenks, Pure MajinBuu, Broly, Bardock and Beerus. V-Jump Magazine also gave tips and team recommendations for players.

Inquisitr cited that “Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden” was developed by Arc Systems Works, which has built a reputation for good fighting games. The game will be shown in 2-dimensional style fighting. The game includes a single-player mode where players can unlock all characters. There is still no confirmation regarding the featured superpowers and skills that the characters will have, as well as the environments for the battles.

More details are expected in the following days before the official release in North America. Fans have already expressed their excitement over the upcoming game on Twitter.
