Microsoft Surface 3 Has Optional Pen, Fresh Paint; Watch New Promo Video Here

Microsoft has unveiled a new promo for the Surface 3, showing off the power of modern technology.

A video was presented to feature the capabilities of the Microsoft Surface 3. An artist recreated a 200-year-old masterpiece, using only the Microsoft Surface 3, a Surface Pen and the Fresh Paint app.

Microsoft revealed that the Surface Pen was designed to provide users effortless writing and drawing. The accessory also offers one-click access to OneNote so the user's ideas will be easy to capture and find.

People can use Surface Pen in any app that has inking support such as PowerPoint, Word and drawing apps. The top button of the Surface Pen can be clicked to open OneNote. Double clicking it will capture a screenshot.

The top button is connected to the Surface 3 via Bluetooth technology. In many apps, the right click button functions similar to the right click button of a mouse. The Surface Pen also has an eraser button and a fine tip.

Phone Arena reported that the Microsoft Surface 3 runs on the Windows 8.1 but will be upgraded to Windows 10 beginning July 29, 2015.

The tablet features a 10.8-inch 1280 x 1920 resolution display, 64GB or 128GB of internal memory and a quad-core Intel Atom x7 processor.

The product measures 10.52 x 7.36 x 0.34 inches and weighs 622 grams. It is highly portable and lightweight so users can take the device anywhere for work and entertainment.

The Microsoft Surface 3 also offers up to 10 hours of battery life for video playback, so users can play, watch, browse and work for the entire day. The product also has a 3-position kickstand, which allows users to view their favorite shows for hours without having to use their hands.

The optional Surface Pen will feel like a real pen so users will find it very easy to take notes, draw or write music. The accessory offers an excellent digital writing experience.

The Microsoft Surface 3 was designed to adapt to the user's specific needs. Its click-in keyboard, fast Intel processor and one-year Office included let it work like a laptop as necessary.
