A new extended TV spot teases the next installment in the "James Bond" franchise, dubbed "Spectre."

ScreenRant reported that "Spectre" is set to release in the fall of 2015 and the new extended TV spot features a few mysteries that are bound to be presented in the upcoming film. Sony Pictures released the new footage which is a shorter version of the teaser trailer that was previously shown to fans. The preview showed a number of characters from "Skyfall" who will be returning, such as Q, played by Ben Whinshaw, and Moneypenny, played by Naomie Harris. New characters were also featured such as Dave Bautista and Monica Bellucci. The extended TV spot focused on Agent 007's past and "Spectre."

Slashfilm stated that Sam Mendes, who directed "Skyfall", will return as director of "Spectre." Ralph Fiennes will also be returning in the next film. Other notable people who will be involved in "Spectre" include Cristoph Waltz, Lea Seydoux, Andrew Scott, Stephanie Sigman and Rory Kinnear. Sam Mendes and screenwriters Neal Purvis, John Logan and Robert Wade will most likely present a new side of the Spectre organization. Fans have very high expectations in the movie's plot and resonance for Bond.

ScreenRant also wrote that "Spectre" appears to be a culmination of the last three "James Bond" movies which Daniel Craig starred in. The upcoming movie seemed to maintain the personal aspects of Bond's background, which made the previous films quite successful.

In the video featured on IGN, Daniel Craig, who plays James Bond, was featured looking into his past. The superspy found a cryptic message from his past which compelled him to investigate the sinister group called "Spectre". He attempts to uncover the truth behind the organization and the minds behind it. Bond was also shown flying an airplane, fending off enemies on a snowy mountain and having intimate moments with women. Christoph Waltz will play the main villain Franz Oberhauser. There were also several shots of the secret organization and its mysterious members. The new preview lasted only one minute, with the first half being an accelerated version of the first released trailer.

"Skyfall" was well-received by viewers because of how the story featured Bond's background and character. The next installment seemed to preserve the approach so fans highly anticipate that the story will be consistent with the previous films. With this type of buildup, "Spectre" will either be as successful as its predecessors or risks disappointing fans if the mysteries do not turn out to be as spectacular as people anticipated, based on the same Screen Rant article.
