Kylie Jenner,17, is reportedly going to make an album. After her relationship with rapper Tyga went public, will the "Keeping Up With The Kardashian" star explore her career in music?
The reality star keeps her followers up-to-date via social media and she had been posting videos of herself while singing along with DJ Khaled and Iggy Azalea. However, reports indicate that she is secretly going to release an album.
According to Washington Post, Tyga is helping Kylie write and produce most of her tracks. The magazine also claims that the teen started taking voice lessons last year and shared a couple videos of her singing. However, Kylie recently claimed that she is not sure whether a singing career is a path she would like to take.
"No. I don't know. I like to keep all that to myself but I am really excited I'm coming out with a new website this summer. I am just super excited about that. Everyone wants to see my make-up tips and what I do with my hair and this and that. So, I just want to do tutorials and show what I use because I feel people are really interested in that," Kylie said during her interview with Entertainment Tonight.
There are no other singers in the Kardashian or Jenner clan. Back in 2011, Kim Kardashian released a single, called "Jam," which was produced by The Team, Daily Mail reports. So the inspiration might have been brought upon by Kanye. Kylie and Kendall have been hanging out with a lot of singers and rappers like Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, JLo and Drake.
Kylie also dismissed rumors that she wants to be the next Katy Perry. The teenager said that she respects everyone's art but wouldn't want to be anyone other than "the next Kylie."
Apart from her album rumors, Kylie also revealed that she has been supporting herself financially since she was 14. In Style UK magazine did an interview with the famous Jenner and she admitted that her mom, Kris, cut her off financially years ago and so she paid for everything for herself since then.
"My mom cut me off financially three years ago so I pay for everything - my car, my gas and food as well as my clothes," Kylie said.
The teenager also compared herself to sisters Khloe and Kim. She said that on normal days, she dresses like Khloe and on events she leans towards Kim's style more.
"I feel like I dress like Khloe on my down days and Kim when I'm going out. If I'm just running out I'll throw on a cute T-shirt, a pair of leggings and my Timberland boots. If I'm dressing up I love Céline and Saint Laurent, or for accessories Alaïa, Givenchy or Gianvito Rossi," Jenner said.
