New revelations concerning "Tekken 7" keep fans of the game on their toes and excited about the title's arrival in other areas outside of Japan, where it is currently playing in arcades.

The most recent one involves Kazumi Mishima, wife of Heihachi and mother of Kazuya Mishima. And, as it turns out, she's no ordinary character in the game - she's the boss in the final stage.

As shown in a video uploaded on the official YouTube channel of "Tekken 7," the Mishima matriarch "is shown performing numerous special moves and combos on Heihachi, many of which are assisted by a tiger," as noted by IGN.

"The final sequence shows what appears to be her Rage Art, a super move similar to an Ultra Combo in Ultra Street Fighter IV," the tech news site added. "As a boss character, Kazumi transforms into an alternate devil version, like Kazuya and Jin in previous games. That form is not shown in this character reveal video and it is not clear if players will be able to control her devil form."

With that being said, it appears the makers of the game are definitely not against elevating females to a power position.

In addition, the female boss' appearance has been noted as "youthful" by International Business Times, considering that she is already a grandmother. Also, the inclusion of her feline fighting companion is another testament to her penchant for training animals to fight - an inclination she shares with her husband. However, Heihachi can't really summon Kuma into the match, unlike Kazumi.

Her transformation into a devil may also excite the curiosity of gamers, raising "a lot of questions and can make for some interesting storytelling possibilities in the game."

It can be recalled that Kazumi has been suspected as being the first to get the Devil gene, and that son Kazuya and grandson Jin also have it, as noted by Fighters Generation. However, Kazumi worried of what Heihachi will do to Kazuya, considering the revelation that the former had reportedly killed Kazumi way back before the first game came to being. With that, she developed the resolve to stop Heihachi from doing her son any harm.

Could this be a reason she's the final boss in "Tekken 7"?

Aside from Kazumi, the upcoming game will have Claudio, Katarina, Lucky Chloe, Shaheen, Josie Rizal and Gigas as new additions. Although Bandai Namco has said the game will be released internationally in the future, no specific dates have been announced yet. It will be showcased at the EVO in Las Vegas this July, though.
