Pundits suspected a Moto G (2015) roll out when Indian e-retailer FlipKart "accidentally" posted specifications of the said device. Although the site immediately took down the incriminating post, the leak was captured via screenshot by some eagle-eyed netizens.

"The new Moto G apparently comes in white (among other possible options) and packs 8GB of storage, likely with microSD support for adding extra space," TechnoBuffalo noted.

"Nothing much has been revealed, just the device is featuring an 8 GB model too. Only things that is known other than this is that the model number of the device might be AP3560AD1K8," Gadgetraid observed, adding that, based on previous leaks, the said phone is rumored to be equipped with "1.7 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 610 SoC, 2 GB RAM, 5 or 5.2 inch 1080p display, and 4G LTE."

Motorola, however, has not confirmed these leaks yet. The company also has not confirmed the release date of the device, or even the possibility of the gadget being released at all.

Despite this, observers noted that it's probably that Moto G, as well as the Moto X 2015, may be launched "between the second and third quarter this year."

"And with the second quarter of 2015 only one month before it expires and as we await the upcoming third quarter, it will only be just a matter of days before loyal mobile users get a hand of Moto G and the Moto X 2015," Gospel Herald speculated.

Does that mean the Moto G (2015) will be coming this month? Another factor contributing to this possibility is the fact that "Motorola started seeding the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS update to the Moto X 2014," Yibada said.

We'll definitely know more in the coming weeks.

Moto G has been known as the smartphone that helped put Motorola back into the main playing field in the mobile gadget industry.

"The Motorola Moto G has taken Motorola from nowhere to 6 per cent of British mobile phones sales in just six months," CNET noted regarding the UK market.

"The success of the Moto G 'highlights the speed at which a quality budget phone can disrupt a market,'" the tech news site added, quoting Kantar Worldpanel ComTech's Dominic Sunnebo.

Judging the Moto G's success, it appeared Motorola had finally managed to establish a bridge with its audience and found a key to delivering what they need and thus turn in another revenue booster. Will they do it right again with the next Moto G model?
