The stage is being set for the highly anticipated showdown between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors.

NBA.com revealed that Game 1 of the 2015 NBA Finals will commence on Thursday, June 4 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.

Game 1 will be played at Golden State. Game 2 will be on Sunday, June 7 at Golden State at 8 p.m. ET. Game 3 will be on Tuesday, June 9 at Cleveland at 9 p.m. ET. Game 4 will be on Thursday, June 11 at Cleveland at 9 p.m. ET. Game 5, if necessary will be played on Sunday, June 14 at Golden State at 8 p.m. ET. If necessary, Game 6 will happen at Cleveland at 9 p.m. ET. The seventh game of the series, again, if necessary, will return to Golden State at 9 p.m. Live streaming will be available for all games on ABC.

Bleacher Report wrote that four-time NBA MVP LeBron James will lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to hopefully win their first NBA crown. Current NBA MVP Stephen Curry will take the lead with the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors are highly favored to win the NBA championship, after garnering a 12-3 playoff record in the Western Conference. The Cavs also did well in the Eastern Conference with a 12-2 playoff record. Odds Shark stated that the Warriors have 19-38 odds of winning, while the Cavs have 21-10 odds.

Bleacher Report added that Kyrie Irving will need to recover as much as he can. The Cavs need Irving's speed to slow down Curry as well as help in scoring. The NBA Finals will be an exciting stage for two of the best point guards in the league. Klay Thompson of the Warriors also need to heal and be at his best when Game 1 commences.

Having the Cavs and Warriors at the 2015 NBA Finals offers a fresh scene for NBA fans, which reportedly resulted to ticket prices skyrocketing. The cost of tickets during the series will likely be the most expensive in many seasons, according to an article by CBS Sports. For Game 1 and 2, the average ticket price had increased by over $1,000 between the 2014 and 2015 Finals.

Golden State has been one of the most exciting teams to watch in the current season. Adding LeBron's return to Cleveland to hopefully help the team win its first championship in NBA history truly increases the anticipation, resulting to what could be one of the best matchups in years.
