The ripples of the Galaxy S6's launch have not yet subsided but rumors of its successor are already emerging in cyberspace. Could this be a sign that fans are not content with what the current model has to offer? Or are they just excited about what new innovation Samsung can unleash next?

Whichever it is, observers online have begun pitching in their predictions for the next flagship smartphone iteration from the South Korean company. One has speculated that the upcoming device's ram may reach 8 GB, which is really a lot for a smartphone. "All your office work can be done in this smartphone," SamsungGalaxy7 said.

"The S7 will have a 64bit Exynos processor," the site went on to say. "For an improved speed, there will be a 4.5 GHz Snapdragon processing power."

It also added that the Galaxy S7 may come with up to 128 GB internal storage, 30 MP rear camera, 10 MP front-facing camera, 8K Super Amoled display for a 5.5 inch-screen, waterproof feature, 5G network connection, and infrared sensors.

"The Infrared Sensor will be able to measure body temperature and see through walls," the site speculated.

Some may think that these specs may be products of wishful thinking and may not be feasible. Since Samsung has not confirmed or even talked about S7 yet, it can be said that pundits can do a no-holds-barred forecast that could be stratospheric (read: unrealistic) for the time being.

Meanwhile, GalaxyS6Samsung.com predicted that the next iteration will have 4GB of RAM.

"It will be the first android smartphone to have the 64bit Exynos processor. For an improved speed, there will be a 3.5 GHz processing power," the site said.

As with the first site mentioned, GalaxyS6Samsung.com opined that the S7 may also have a 30 MP rear camera and 10 MP front-facing one, as well as the other features forecasted.

Further, Tech Radar said that the upcoming model will reportedly come with a flexible display, as revealed by supply chain sources.

"There's even talk that Samsung will go further and deliver a foldable phone," the tech news site continued. "But this seems incredibly unlikely."

"Even if the technology is in place (which is a big if) it's doubtful that Samsung would risk something so new and untested on its flagship," Tech Radar speculated.

SamsungGalaxy7 predicted that the new model may be announced in December this year and probably released sometime next year. Tech Radar believes that Samsung may unveil the device in February 2016 during the MWC, as it had done this year.
