You've heard rumors about Queen Elsa getting a leading man in "Frozen 2." However, there's been talk that she might just "come out" as a lesbian in the upcoming reason.

This gets one wondering: could it be that the reason the Snow Queen didn't have any love interest in the 2013 film is that she is actually gay?

It can be recalled that Queen Elsa is the first, and still the only Disney Princess, who doesn't have a romantic interest - a fact that sparked a flurry of speculations over her "sexuality" and a number of accusations towards Disney about making a supposedly child-oriented film that had LGBT overtones.

While not having a leading man doesn't make the Snow Queen gay, the fact that all other Disney Princesses had their Princes makes one suspect that something is amiss gender-wise, as Topless Robot observed.

The site is not the only one to allude to the supposed gay underpinnings of the film. Blogger Kathryn Skaggs said that the movie tries to normalize homosexuality.

"Elsa has a great power that she has been taught by her parents from the time she was a child, is not publicly acceptable and that she must fear its expression, at all cost, thus hide it from people, even her own sister who could be hurt by it - even killed. Shame is at the core of Elsa's feelings about her magical powers: same-sex attraction," she wrote.

"As Elsa's power increases, her parents' urge her to learn how to control it, as it would be perceived as evil to others, but Elsa can't; it's impossible. Her parents' make the decision to close the castle to the public, and lock Elsa in her room so that her power won't be discovered. Not even her sister is allowed to see and play with Elsa: demonetization of homosexuals by society," she went on to say.

"Elsa is devastatingly lonely and depressed being forced to live a life of isolation, believing her powers to be evil," Skaggs continued. "Her sister, kept from the truth, and affected by the inflicted secrecy also becomes victim to the dysfunction of her family and experiences equal isolation and confusion: not 'coming out' and being who you are meant to be (acting on the power) is harmful to the person, family and society."

"Oh, and did you happen to catch the gay partner of the guy up at the lodge selling supplies to Hans, in the sauna with their kids? If you blinked, you probably missed it," she also added.

With all that considered, will Elsa then come out in "Frozen 2"?

According to iDigitalTimes, it's highly likely she won't.

"The directors and writers will not have the option of making Elsa explicitly gay, because the blowback would be too intense for a money making machine like Disney," the site speculated. "Right thing to do or not, right for the story or not, it just ain't happening."

Looks like Elsa will get a love interest in "Frozen 2" as a cover. What do you think?
