The conflict between WWE and its former star CM Punk is not likely to end soon.

Fans searching for CM Punk at the WWE Shop at present will be brought to a results page, asking if they actually mean “CM Junk.” WhatCulture stated that WWE is apparently bitter about the former WWE star who parted with the organization in bad terms one and a half years ago. Before CM Punk left WWE, his merchandise was among the bestselling items on the website. Punk is currently selling his own t-shirts at a standalone online shop.

StillRealToUs showed an image of the results page when someone typed “CM Punk” on WWE Shop. The results read, “Did you mean CM Junk?” then proceeded to give tips to enhance the search. WWE has yet to clarify the issue but fans assumed that it was a cheap shot on the part of the organization. Some people are saying that it was WWE’s way of getting back at the former star after he divulged unpleasant details regarding the organizations management of its active stars.

WrestlingInc reported that there were people who speculated that Colt Cobana was also being treated in a similar fashion. When a user entered his name on the WWE Shop, there were also unusual suggestions provided. However, the WWE may defend itself by stating that searching for any name that is not related with WWE will most likely provide an unusual suggestion. Any name without an existing merchandise in the online store might cause the suggestions, even though some of these may be insulting.

In November 2014, CM Punk shared on “The Art of Wrestling” podcast his reasons for leaving the WWE. He had complaints about the organization having no concern about the health and safety of its wrestlers. According to CM Punk, he was forced to wrestle against inexperienced wrestlers which put his life and health at risk. WWE suspended him before terminating his contract on his wedding day. He left WWE with a lot of negative things to say about the latter, based on a report by Zap2It. CM Punk said that he was also dissatisfied with how he was treated after leaving WWE. He vowed that he is never coming back, although his wife, WWE diva A.J., is still actively appearing in the show. The 36-year-old is now part of UFC and training for his debut scheduled for late 2015 or early 2016.
