While the iPhone 6S is said to be the best Apple smartphone to date, the Nexus 5 (2015) is also slated to be unveiled at the Google I/O on May 28 to 29, 2015. With these news, users are already comparing the two side-by-side to determine which device is better.

In terms of design, Android Pit wrote that Apple generally follows a pattern for making changes in the iPhone’s design. For the first year, a new design is created, then a few adjustments are made in the following year for the “S” model. 2015 is an “S” year for Apple so there will be a few upgrades to expect on the iPhone 6. There are talks that Huawei and LG will be working on the design of the upcoming Google Nexus 5 (2015) and it is expected to appear similar to the Nexus 6.

Regarding the display, the Apple iPhone 6S will provide a resolution of 1344 x 750 at 326 ppi while the Plus model will have a 1920 x 1080 resolution at 401 ppi. There are rumors that the “S” version will feature the Force Touch, which can sense how hard the user is pressing to perform different functions. There are rumors that sapphire screens may be introduced and Apple might change the type of aluminum to make the phone tougher and less likely to bend. The screen size will most likely remain at 4.7 and 5.5 inches for the iPhone 6S and Plus. There are talks that the Nexus 5 (2015) screen will be 5.2 or 5.7 inches with full HD IPS display. The size will be smaller compared to the Nexus 6, although pixel density is higher, based on the same Android Pit report.

Apple uses the A8 and M8 motion processors at present, so the upcoming “S” model might be a generation higher. There might be 2 GB of RAM and 16, 64 or 128 GB of internal memory. The Nexus 5 (2015) is said to include the Snapdragon 810 processor and 3 GB of on-board RAM. The iPhone 6 Plus will feature optical image stabilization in its iSight camera while the iPhone 6S will have a 12-megapixel camera. The Nexus 5 is predicted to have a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera with Optical Image Stabilization and dual-tone LED flash, Android Pit wrote.

The iPhone 6S will feature iOS 9, while the Nexus 5 (2015) will most likely come with new Android M, BGR stated.

The iPhone 6S will bring something exciting with Force Touch. Adding a more powerful processor and more RAM is also a plus. However, those who are fonder of Androids will like the Nexus 5 (2015) better.
