Selena Gomez is reportedly planning her own reality show, according to a report from OK! magazine. If the news is true, will the "Come and Get It" singer star in it?

Selena wants to revamp her career and is said to be in talks with none other than mother and manager of the Kardashians, Kris Jenner. It would be quite an intriguing mix if Selena Gomez is indeed taking some coaching from Kris. Nobody does the reality show marketing better than the Kardashian clan, after all.

After her split from Justin Bieber last year, the singer-actress became more focused on making more music and other career plans to boost her dwindling stardom.

"Selena is tired of being seen as Justin Bieber's lovesick ex, so she's hatched a plan to do her own reality show. Selena thinks a reality show could boost her career," notes OK! magazine.

While Kris and her daughters are not the best role models in Hollywood, there is no question that they play their fame cards well. The 59-year-old mother of Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Rob, Kendall and Kylie, is said to believe that the planned reality show will be a huge hit for among Selena's fans, but can affect her own family's own brand. "She's serious when she tells Selena that her show will cause the Kardashians' own ratings to dip," the US publication added.

The coaching does not stop there as there seems to be something more personal brewing between Kris and Selena. The manager mom is said to be repairing the friendship between Selena and Kylie as well. The two drifted apart last year due to rumors that the Latina celebrity was jealous of her Justin's close friendship to Kendall.

"Kris brought up to Selena at the Met Ball that Kylie missed her and that she would love to see them talk again," reported Hollywood Life. "It's massive baby steps, but they have been testing it out to become friends again and have talked and obviously hung out. It's a work in progress between them. They won't be hanging out together alone yet, but in a group, it seems to have worked out positively."

However, a fresh report from Gossip Cop is claiming that Selena Gomez will not do a reality show and the rumors are fake. The website claims that according to Selena's close friend, the rumor is "absolutely ludicrous."

It seems like nobody can set the record straight aside from the 22-year-old singer herself. Selena is yet to comment on the new rumor about her career.
