1D Attends Taylor Swift's Billboard After-Party; Harry Styles Absent!

Is One Direction splitting up or is Harry Styles' absence at Taylor Swift's Billboard Awards after-party down to him keeping things from taking an awkward turn?

Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson were photographed attending Tay's bash, and Liam Payne was also spotted at her party, but Harry was reportedly missing at the Las Vegas shindig, which was also attended by the "1989" artist's current squeeze, DJ Calvin Harris.

"Given the fact Taylor and her new DJ boyfriend were inseparable for much of the night, it may have been a wise move for the Cheshire-born star, who is rumoured to have dated Taylor," MailOnline pointed out.

On top of that, the British heartthrob reportedly returned to Los Angeles from Sin City, where the awards ceremony was held on Sunday, alone, according to The Washington Post.

"(Harry) realised the party wasn't a good idea, so flew back to LA solo," a source was quoted as saying by the publication.

"Harry didn't stay in Vegas after the awards, so didn't attend any after-show party," said a One Direction rep.

The 21-year-old was reportedly invited by Tay and musician Ed Sheeran, who is a mutual friend of the alleged former couple.

"Ed doesn't see any reason for them all not to be friends. He invited all of the One Direction boys and wanted Harry to join in, but Harry knew it would be awkward so he decided against it," another insider told Hollywood Life.

Maybe Harry had also had enough of the Tay-Calvin PDAs, hence his absence. A source reportedly told the same site that the "Bad Blood" singer was "over the moon that Harry was there to witness how crazy she and Calvin are for each other."

Harry was not the only avoidant ex in the situation. Calvin's own ex Rita Ora was reportedly staying put backstage all through the event "to avoid the 31-year-old DJ making out with Taylor in front of the biggest names in the music industry," The Washington Post said.

"The romance is big news -- she wanted to avoid an awkward encounter or being pictured reacting. Taylor was introducing all her mates to Calvin by his real name Adam, telling everyone how happy they were," an insider told the news source.

Indeed, Calvin and Tay's romance appears to be growing hotter by the week. At the rate it's going, one dreads the moment the relationship is over as Swifty may be churning out more than just one or two songs about Calvin. Well, perhaps this time it won't really end. Time will tell!
