Air Jordan 11 Low 'Bred' Out This Weekend! Photos, Price & Where to Buy Here!

One of the most anticipated Air Jordan pairs of the year is about to be released in May 2015.

Kicks On Fire revealed that the much-awaited Air Jordan 11 Low "Bred" will finally be available on May 23, 2015. The shoe will retail at $170 and will be sold on Nike.com, Champ Sports and selected Air Jordan retail shops. Also known as the AJ 11 "True Red," the shoe will be released in celebration of the Jordan brand's 30 years in the business.

SneakerWatch reported that the shoes can technically be deemed as OGs or player exclusives because these were first worn by Michael Jordan in 1996. The low-cut sneaker was never released to the public until this year.

The Air Jordan 11 Low "Bred" was based on the high-top Air Jordan XI, which was worn by Jordan when he led the Chicago Bulls to their NBA crown during the 1995 playoffs. The Air Jordan 11 was designed by Tinker Hatfield and is considered as the most popular among all the numbered Jordans, according to Nice Kicks. Meanwhile, Champ Sports stated that Jordan included the low-top version in his shoe rotation when the Bulls played against the Seattle Supersonics and won their fourth title in Game 6.

Hype Beast wrote that the shoe maintained the original construction, with the black Cordura ballistic mesh upper, black patent leather that goes around and a solid white midsole. There is a carbon fiber sheath that provides solid support and a translucent red outsole that matches the inner lining of the shoe. The shoelaces, insoles and tongue are black.

Based on photos shown by Kicks on Fire, there is a white printed number "23" and a red stitched Jumpman logo on the back. There is also a Jumpman Jordan tag in the middle of the tongue. There is another red printed Jumpman logo against the black insole. Compared to the 1995 high-top model, the upcoming shoe has a True Red inner lining while the original was black.

Champ Sports wrote that the shoe is expected to be sold out when it is officially released on Saturday. It has been 20 years since the shoe was first spotted by basketball fans. Low-top sneakers are becoming common nowadays because of how the game gained more versatility and speed in the past few years. The Air Jordan 11 Low "Bred" is expected to be used both on the court and as part of sneakerheads' collections.
