Adriana Henderson wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary by posting selfies onto her Facebook page. Women in their early 20s doing it regularly, and Henderson was just one of millions of social media users sharing a piece of herself for the world to see.

Unfortunately for the 21-year-old Houston woman, she caught the attention of several escort website who may be unlawfully using her image to sell sex. Henderson did not say if her Facebook page was set on private.

After being recognized on the street, Henderson began receiving phone calls and messages asking if she was still doing "in-calls" and whether she was still "on the market." It didn't take much effort for Henderson research the images online and trace them back to online sex sites.

Efforts to contact the pictures' uploaders were fruitless as they haven't returned any calls. The ABC 13 reporter interviewing Henderson made a similar effort, but only received a text message response saying they had the wrong number.

"Somewhere it has to stop," Henderson said. "I want my own identity. It's embarrassing. It's humiliating. I'm not that kind of person." She added that the incident has already led to one breakup.

While Henderson doesn't think it's an act of "revenge porn," she may have a defamation of character case, according to an attorney interviewed by the Houston television station.

"Just let me live my life in peace. That's all I ask," Henderson said. She is contemplating hiring an attorney.

What would you do? Would you hire an attorney, or would you accept that the selfies will permanently be linked to the sex sites?
