Two months after Disney announced that "Frozen 2" is officially happening, the excitement and anticipation over the upcoming sequel remains high. This is especially evident in the unrelenting flow of speculations and rumors about the follow-up, of which scant details have been released.

However, the latest update about the movie is not hearsay - it came from the mouth of co-director Chris Buck himself.

"We have lots of things to figure out but at least we know where we are going," he told ABC News about making part 2. He also said that they had already figured out what the ending would be.

Meanwhile, Rotoscopers quoted the director as saying that he and his collaborators have come up with a "terrific ending" for "Frozen 2." He also hinted that it may be about Princess Anna saving Queen Elsa this time.

Sounds like a nice touch complementing the ending of the original film. What do you think of such a scenario?

Further, reports say that the sequel is inspired by "Ozma of Oz," which is authored by L. Frank Baum. It has been also said that there are "similarities between both stories, as Elsa and Dorothy both have powers within them to "do what [is] needed to be done," Movie News Guide said.

Additionally, there have been speculations that the siblings "will be battling against an evil Nome King, who turned the royal family and the rest of the guests into an ornament," just like Dorothy, the protagonist of the book.

Other rumors say that "Frozen 2" will be about the origins of Elsa's powers, which was pretty much already covered in the original film.

Previous rumors say that Prince Hans will be back in part 2 and will actually be a good guy, having being reformed during his incarceration.

"Hans may actually return to Arendelle to help Elsa and Anna fend off the attacks of the new villain in order to save and restore peace to the kingdom," Master Herald said.

With all these speculations swirling, plus the expectations fans have for the sequel, it's not a surprise that the makers of "Frozen 2" are feeling the heat. Master Herald had noted that Buck had expressed feeling "extreme pressure" over the expectations piled upon the follow up to the hit animated film. There's also the pressure of making a movie that will perform as well at the box office as its predecessor, which had earned no less than a billion dollars worldwide.

We have a feeling the next film will do very well. Do you agree?
