On Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 4:07 a.m. a small earthquake was felt in Los Angeles area. The earthquake jolt was short lived lasting about 2 seconds.

Since it ocurred early during a.m. hours, the quake must've not been felt by many people, but to those who were awake it was clear that there was a sudden shaking.

"It may have felt like a 3 or 4 as far as I can tell, not strong enough to sound off car alarms but I could hear my wooden walls creaking," said Adrian Ramos from the Los Angeles area.

The earthquake, confirmed in the USGS website, originated 1 kilometer from View Park-Windsor Hills California and it had a magnitude of 3.9 on the Richter scale.
