Episode 73
In Soacha, people wait for the arrival of Galan. Galan drives over with his security and asks them to be very alert. Galan then asks his security if he thinks he should cancel the rally. However they tell Galan that everything will be okay.
In the meantime Pablo receives a call from El Mariachi who tells him that Galan will be killed on that night. The rally gets out of control with very little security. At home, Galan's family discuss the election and what the outcomes could be.
Pablo is sick at home waiting for the death of Galan as he watches TV. Nikki arrives at the rally and realizes that the rally is out of control and unsafe as it lacks the security. Galan arrives and greets his people. However he quickly realizes that the rally is not secure. The crowd goes wild for Galan and right before he is about to give his speech, he is shot.
Episode 74
Galan is transported to the hospital but gets stuck in traffic. He is taken to the first hospital found while the Galan family direct themselves to the hospital. They prepare to operate but the hospital does not have the equipment so they transfer Galan immediately.
In Medellin Pablo continues ill and asks for a doctor. Fabio finds out about Galan's assassination attempt and becomes infuriated. He tells Pablo that he is leaving the organization and that after that attack his power will fall.
After hours of waiting, the doctor comes out to tell Galan's family that he died. The news is then spread throughout the country. The country is devastated by the news and hope is lost because he was supposed to be the next president of Colombia. The president gives a speech and promises that Galan's assassins will be punished.
In Medellin Pablo prepares to leave his ranch. Before that he kills one of his men after making fun of Pablo's illness. He declares war on the state.
