An artist recently came up with individual sigils for each NBA team that reached the 2015 playoffs, based on the famous novel series "Game of Thrones".
Reddit user ninetythrees, who is a designer for Stargazer Media, created 16 house sigils to represent each team currently battling in their respective conference.
Photos were also featured in a report by CBS Sports, showing the house sigil of the already-eliminated Boston Celtics. The sigil was dominantly green, featuring a green shield against a green background. The triangular shamrock was set at the center while the title "House Boston" was written on top in white, using the same font as the original titles of the various house sigils of the novel.
House Cleveland, who swept the Celtics, was also presented, featuring its blue and maroon tones. The giant "C" with the sword through it served as the centerpiece. House Portland featured red, white and black colors and its signature logo at the center.
Based on photos shown by Bleacher Report, House Chicago looked very much like a real medieval sigil, with a full-body bull in the middle of the shield. House Houston presented a red rocket against a white background. The Los Angeles Clippers also had a good look, featuring a red frigate sailing against a blue background. House Memphis also appeared as if it were part of Westeros, with a blue bear with yellow eyes prowling in the middle of the sigil.
SB Nation also featured ninetythrees' rendition of House Brooklyn, with the shield in black and white quadrants and a white net in the middle. House Milwaukee almost looked like a variation of the House Baratheon sigil, with a proud buck poised against the green background. House New Orleans featured the white bird flying against a blue and gold background. House Toronto showed the red head of a raptor against a black background.
House Dallas featured a white horse against a blue background. House Golden State presented the Golden Gate Bridge against a blue background while House Washington D.C. had the Washington Monument at the center against the red, blue and white background. Finally, the reigning NBA champs, House San Antonio, had a dark-looking sigil, with a gray spur at the center against a black background.

In 2014, NBA "Game of Zones" was also shown in videos by Bleacher Report, presenting the quest of 2014 NBA Playoffs teams and stars to win the NBA championship, with some inspiration from author George R.R. Martin's books.
