Mariah Carey's new song could be a direct diss to her ex-husband Nick Cannon. The catchy track titled "Infinity" was unveiled on Sunday, April 26, ET Online reported. According to the news outlet, the song sounds like "classic '90s Mariah" and is focused on a former flame.

Carey sings: "Why you mad?/Talking about you're mad?/ Could it be that you just lost the best you ever had? ... Name hold weight like kilos/ Boy you actin' so corny like Fritos/ Wouldn't have none of that without me, though."

Listen to "Infinity" below.

According to a report from PEOPLE, the track will be included in the 46-year-old singer's upcoming May 18 album "Mariah Carey #1 to Infinity." The release date will also mark Carey's artist residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

The songstress and the "America's Got Talent" host were married for seven years before parting ways last year, ET Online wrote. When asked about the negativity surrounding the split, Cannon, 34, said that he learned to take it in a stride.

"You got to live life and take hardships and things like that as hurdles that were made to jump over," Cannon told the news outlet. "If there's no issues within yourself or within your own family, then what other people say on the outside really doesn't matter."

In December 2014, the rapper also tweeted about his good relationship with his former wife despite the separation. He wrote: "I will never say anything negative about @MariahCarey. We are forever a family rooted in love."

In August 2014, the former couple's split became more controversial after Carey's late arrival for her performance at the 2014 Rockefeller Center Christmas tree taping in December. According to a separate report from PEOPLE, the singer was in a five-hour phone call with her lawyers discussing not only about the former couple's properties but also their two children.

Carey and Cannon tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Bahamas in 2008, the news outlet added. For their fifth anniversary in May 2013, the pair renewed their marriage vows in Disneyland.

Despite the divorce, Carey and Cannon still make sure to spend time with their 4-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe. The couple took their children out on an Easter Egg Hunt in New York City earlier this April, PEOPLE noted.

Nick Cannon's New Album About Mariah Carey?

Last December, music producer Mally Mall told TMZ that Cannon's new album will be mostly about his ex-wife, and that the songs are going to be controversial "in a good way."

When asked if terrible stuff will come out in the album about the former couple's failed marriage, Mall replied, "It's both," Daily Mail quoted.
