A new batch of photos has been unveiled from the set of Fox's horror-comedy "Scream Queens." The series, which was helmed by "Glee" creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan, centers on a murderer stalking a college sorority. Check out the exclusive first look featuring the cast on Entertainment Weekly.

"Scream Queens" will showcase an all-star cast comprised of Emma Roberts (Chanel), Jamie Lee Curtis (Cathy Munsch), Lea Michele (Hester), Keke Palmer (Zayday), Oliver Hudson, Abigail Breslin, Nick Jonas, Ariana Grande, Billie Lourd, and Glen Powell, the news outlet reported. The set photos showed Michele's character in a neckbrace while wearing an ugly 1995 tracksuit.

In Entertainment Weekly's interview with Murphy, it was said that "Scream Queens" will open in a flashback in 1995 featuring an unsolved crime mystery at the sorority. "Something horrible happened to a pledge and on the anniversary of that crime" twenty years later, indicating that someone is exacting revenge.

According to Murphy, the series was based on the '80s/early '90s slasher genre which involves young people.

"The other thing it's inspired by is it's a real murder mystery whodunit," Murphy told Entertainment Weekly. "In the very first episode you meet all the characters and then the killings start happening on this college campus. Every character in the piece has the motivation to be the killer. So when you're watching it, part of the fun is, 'Okay who did it?' It's not revealed until the last episode when literally the mask of the Red Devil, who is the killer, comes off and we say, 'Boom here's your killer.'"

Murphy also talked about casting Grande despite the singer's busy schedule. The brunette beauty portrays one of Chanel's henchwomen alongside Breslin's and Lourd's characters.

When asked about how he got Grande to sign up on the series, Murphy recounted, "I met her and she had been a big fan of 'American Horror Story.' I pitched her the show, which she loved. We have to carve out amounts of time for her but I love her. She's great and funny and she loves the genre of it."

Mixed with a lot of love triangles and sex, "Scream Queens" will showcase character deaths by a killer wearing a devil mask in each episode.

"It's always somebody you least suspect or expect. The killer is on a reign of terror," Murphy explained to the news outlet. "There's a real tune-in factor because it's like, 'Who's going to be picked off this week? And also who is the killer?' Every episode, you get clues as to who the killer is going to be and then all of these clues accumulate."

"Scream Queens" will premiere on Fox in the fall of 2015, Coming Soon noted. Watch the teasers below.
