Since the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is currently being offered at lower prices, could this mean that the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will be launched soon?

International Business Times reported that the new discount rates for Microsoft Surface Pro 3 might reach up to $150. The price cuts are only available for users who are located in the United States and Puerto Rico, however. The lower prices will be offered starting April 19 and are expecting to continue until April 27.

Here's a list of the price cut via (Microsoft Store):

- The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 base model, featuring Intel Core i3, 64 GB of storage space and 4 GB of RAM, is sold at $799.

- The other model, featuring Intel Core i5, 128 GB of storage and 4 GB RAM, is sold at $899, from its original retail price of $999.

-The version featuring Intel Core i7 with 512 GB of storage and 8 GB RAM is priced at $1,649 from $1,799.

Furthermore, Best Buy is reportedly offering the tablet for as low as $600. The retailer also offers deals where users can exchange their functioning tablets for a Microsoft Surface Pro 3. Users can avail of discounts up to $200 by availing of the $50 gift card and trading in their old tablets.

Because of the price cuts, Breathecast noted that many users believe that Microsoft is already preparing for the release of a new model, particularly the Microsoft Surface 4 Pro. There are expectations that the Surface Pro 4 will be released in July 2015 but Microsoft is said to be withholding the official announcement because it is reportedly waiting for the perfect event where they can unveil the latest model. Tech Radar speculated that the perfect event could be Microsoft's Build Conferece, scheduled on on April 29 - May 1.

Microsoft has just released the Microsoft Surface 3 in March 2015. The rumored upcoming Surface Pro 4 is set to be the most advanced tablet in the line when it releases. The device is said to run on the latest Windows 10 OS and will be available in two versions. Users can choose between the 12-inch mid-range spec version and the 14-inch high-range spec version. The two versions will reportedly feature a resolution of 2160 x 1440. The high-range version might feature up to 16 GB RAM and 1 TB of storage, based on a report by Crossmap.
